Yeah, it’s another gray cubicle, but it came with a wipe board.
First time I every posted with my phone. Last time I tried to do it on WordPress, it wasn’t yet possible. Guess that dates me.
No, remembering when a “mobile phone” required a van with an aerial on the roof – that dates you :)
Not sure what the cubicle is that is featured here but I do remember “white boards”, as we called them. I prefer chalk myself (does that date me?) because whenever I went into a classroom that had a white board, I found it unusable, having previously been used by some idiot who had written on it with an indelible pen. (You know, one of those pens that have “Not to be used on white boards” printed down the side.)
White boards are an example of “improvements” which actually make things worse. Personally, I prefer chalk dust in the hair to a board that cannot be cleaned.
Grey cubicle? I’m sure a few pretty posters Blu-tacked to the walls will make all the difference…
But whether it be dream or truth, to do well is what matters. If it be truth, for truth’s sake. If not, then to gain friends for the time when we awaken.

The Information: A History, a Theory, a Flood by James Gleick. Didn't really think I'd like this, but am actually enjoying it quite a bit.
