Today a new look for readability November 9, 2006

Posted by caveblogem in Blogs and Blogging, Other, writing.

I’ve been getting some complaints about the black background and white text, so I thought I’d change the look a little today.  I thought that that arrangement was more readable, but apparently others did not.  After all, this blog is for you, Nannette, and my other loyal readers.

I like the way the page links nest in this template, but there are a few drawbacks, too.  I don’t like the san-sarif font.  And it seems too light.

I’ll take a look at the CSS and see if I can darken the letters a little.  I’ll probably change the picture, like I always do.  This one is from Plimoth Plantation, and with Thanksgiving coming up it seemed appropriate.

I like it. I liked the other one too, but this does seem more “clean”.

THANKS! Yes, the grayish color of text is light, but this is much better on the eyes:-)
